After taking a step back from the world of modelling due to her mental health, model Cara Delevingne is back in the game stronger than ever, with the news she’s the ambassador for the ‘I’m Not A Trophy’ campaign.

Founded by French artist Arno Elias, the campaign aims to bring awareness of poaching and trophy hunting of endangered species, including rhinos, lions and elephants. Following the tragic murder of Cecil the Lion, this issue has been close to the 23-year-old’s heart.

“Cara is the genuine personification of ‘I’m Not A Trophy’, says Elias. “[She’s] truly a woman who plays by her own rules. [Her] enthusiasm and vivacity are an integral part in bringing light to our message of wildlife protection.”

“I plan on being very hands-on with the organization and will do whatever I can to help create awareness for the tragic poaching and trophy hunting that is occurring in Africa,” gushed Cara. “I’m extremely proud to act as inaugural ambassador for the first-ever, international I’m Not a Trophy campaign, a cause that not only benefits endangered species, but empowers women as well.”
